Downtown Public Spaces
Downtown Indianapolis, the vibrant, welcoming, and fun heart of Indiana’s cultural and economic life, is home to many activated, engaging public spaces. With a growing residential population and more than 350 restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within a two-mile radius, public infrastructure supports Downtown’s live-work-play ecosystem and brick-and-mortar businesses.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø, Inc. (DII) and its civic partners – City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, White River State Park, and Indiana War Memorials Commission – work collectively to operate Downtown’s public spaces 365 days a year.
